How to Know If You’re in an Evacuation Zone
CWS alerts may be issued at the request of County Officials to warn people in affected areas that they need to Prepare to Evacuate, or Evacuate Immediately from an area. When CWS sends out an Emergency Alert, the alert appears under the CURRENT ALERTS section of our homepage, along with a highlighted interactive map that shows you what area is affected by the Emergency Alert. If you’re in the area, follow the recommended protective actions immediately.
County Officials may refer to an area as a Zone in the alert. In addition to the CURRENT ALERTS section of our homepage, you may also confirm whether your Zone is affected by visiting the Genasys Protect website.
